Our company has ascertained quality standards that are insuperable. We supply our products with an assurance of unequaled quality and efficient performance.

Being a top-rated Talc Suppliers from Pakistan, we are supplying most premium quality talc in different grades and in different forms, like Lumps, Crushed, Powder etc. locally and International Markets. Our products are absolutely free of any types of bi-minerals like silica and asbestos and hence require no further purification. Therefore, our products have to go through rigorous quality checks to conform to our stringent measures for quality control policy.

Khand traders is a premier name connected with the manufacturing, exporting and supplying of fluorite and chromite powder products. We are exporting our high-quality talc products, Chromite and fluorite powder products all over the globe & renowned as Talc Powder Manufacturers, especially in the United States, Australia, European countries like: United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Turkey, and Middle East. We started mining Chromite and Fluorite in the year 2000 due to high market demand. Our high-quality minerals became very popular across the local market.

Talc Composition

Talc is a naturally occurring mineral with the chemical name hydrated magnesium silicate, represented by the chemical formula Mg3Si4O10(OH)2

Fluorite

Fluorite, commonly known as fluorspar, is a calcium fluoride mineral (CaF2) classified under the halide minerals category. Its crystalline structure predominantly exhibits isometric cubic habit, though octahedral and other intricate forms are also prevalent. On the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, which evaluates scratch resistance, Fluorite is designated a value of 4.

Uses

Intriguingly colorful, Fluorite showcases its brilliance in both the visible and ultraviolet spectrum, making it a captivating choice for ornamental and lapidary applications. However, its allure doesn’t end there – this versatile mineral plays a significant role in various industrial domains as well.

With industrial relevance, fluorite serves as a crucial flux in smelting processes and finds application in crafting exquisite enamels and glasses. Notably, the highest grades of fluorite serve as the source material for the essential fluoride used in hydrofluoric acid manufacturing.

Transparent fluorite lenses boast impeccable optical clarity and minimal dispersion, resulting in reduced chromatic aberration. As a result, lenses made from this gem become highly valuable assets in the production of advanced microscopes and telescopes, enabling a sharp and precise view of the world.

Fluorite optics expand their horizons into the mid-infrared and far-ultraviolet spectrum, outshining conventional glasses that are often too light absorbent for practical use in these regions.

Occurrence

Fluorite is a widely distributed mineral, with extensive deposits spanning over 9,000 locations worldwide.

It is often encountered as a vein deposit, frequently occurring alongside metallic minerals as part of the surrounding gangue, which hosts valuable minerals.

Fluorite is commonly associated with minerals like sphalerite, galena, quartz, barite, and calcite.

It is prevalent in hydrothermal deposits and has been identified as a primary mineral in granites and other igneous rocks.

Minor occurrences of Fluorite can also be found in dolostone and limestone formations. Its diverse presence makes Fluorite a significant and fascinating mineral in various geological contexts.

Chromite

Chromite, an iron chromium oxide mineral with the chemical formula FeCr2O4, falls under the spinel group. It allows for substitution of iron with magnesium, creating a solid solution known as magnesiochromite (MgCr2O4), or with aluminum, resulting in hercynite (FeAl2O4). Of significant industrial significance, chromite is predominantly utilized in producing metallic chromium, a vital alloying element for stainless and tool steels.

Occurance

Chromite is present in Earth’s mantle as orthocumulate lenses of chromitite within peridotite. It can also be found in layered ultramafic intrusive rocks and serpentinites, a type of metamorphic rock. Chromite forms as early magmatic differentiates, often associated with magnetite, olivine, corundum, and serpentine. The vast Bushveld igneous complex in South Africa contains significant layers of chromite-rich chromitite, while high-quality chromite deposits are also found in the Stillwater igneous complex in Montana.

Uses

Chromite and magnesiochromite stand as the primary chromium ores, constituting a series of minerals with diverse compositions: FeCr2O4, (Fe,Mg)Cr2O4, (Mg,Fe)Cr2O4, and MgCr2O4. The refining process results in two main products, ferrochromium, and metallic chromium, each necessitating distinct smelting methods. Besides its industrial role, chromite serves as a high-temperature-resistant material, finding application in refractory products. Extracted chromium plays a vital role in various industries, including chrome plating, alloy production for corrosion-resistant superalloys, nichrome, and stainless steel. Furthermore, it acts as a pigment in glass, glazes, and paint, and an oxidizing agent in leather tanning. At times, chromium also finds use as a gemstone.
